Just last week, we reported that ViewSonic is planning to enter the rapidly growing tablet market. Now, we have official confirmation. In a press release, ViewSonic revealed that the ViewPad 7 is going to be 7″ Android 2.2 (Froyo) tablet with phone facilities.
The 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled device will come with front (VGA) and back (3MP) facing cameras. Other features include G-sensor (for automatic screen orientation), AGPS, handwriting recognition and document reader.
The ViewSonic ViewPad 7 will be on display at IFA 2010, Berlin. Although the price is yet to be determined, the ViewPad is not expected to cost more than £350 (including VAT).
