Samsung Galaxy Tab Coming to Verizon on November 11 for $599

Verizon Galaxy TabThe Samsung Galaxy Tab, the first major Android tablet was officially unveiled at IFA 2010, Berlin. It will be available for purchase soon with all the major carriers in the US. Sprint and T-Mobile had already announced their pricing plans, both planned to sell it for $399 with a contract and $599/$649 without one.

Today, Verizon announced its own plans for the Galaxy Tab. It will be available starting November 11 for $599.99. This is the full retail price, Verizon isn’t offering any subsidized version with a contract. The data plans are priced at $20 per month for 1 GB.

The Galaxy Tab will come with Verizon apps like VCAST Music, VZ Navigator etc. Verizon will also start selling the iPad from October 28.
