By on October 26th, 2010

Nikon is a popular name in the field of camera/imaging. The company has released some great D-SLRs in the past. Today, Nikon has launched a different type of product. The company has launched a new 3D image conversion service dubbed as the Picturetown 3D. The Picturetown 3D technology enables users to view images in 3D without the need for specialized 3D glasses. The service will also enable users to convert their images to 3D. As of now, the Picturetown 3D service is available only for registered members and it acts as an online image sharing and storing service which allows users to view their photos in 3D.

Hopefully, Nikon will be integrating this service into their upcoming digital cameras and digital photo frames.
