During World Wide Developer Conference 09’ this year, Apple announced new Mac Book and Mac Book Pro’s featuring unibody aluminium construction, 7hours of battery life and most importantly a lower price tag for the base model. The downside was non-user replaceable battery and a lower spec’ed hardware. All this has surely helped Apple as Macs have posted a higher sales growth compared to PC for the month of May. Apple posted a Sales growth of 25% month-to-month in May while the whole Computing market segment grew only 1% in May.

Apple is known to overcharge for all their products especially the Mac Book and Mac Book Pro’s. All the Apple products have been having a lot of issues recently including the iPhone 3G S and the Mac Book series of line-up.
