LG Optimus Pad Spotted at CES 2011

Looks like the folks at Engadget could not wait another day or so before LG unveiled the LG Optimus Pad to users, the got a sneak(y) peek at the LG tablet at a CES 2011 venue.

The LG Optimus Pad was supposedly going to make an appearance in 2011, and from the Engadget video it looks more certain to show up at the LF press conference. The device will definitely be running , but the good part is that it is not just your regular tablet. As you can see from the screen above, the device is wirelessly able to calculate the energy used by different appliances through Wi-Fi. It could possibly also be used to control these devices.

We will only know what it is capable of at the LG Press Conference tomorrow. Check on the entire event schedule of CES 2011 and also all the keynotes and exhibitors. You can also watch the CES 2011 events and keynotes online.
