Since the iPhone launched, there have been talks about an iPhone killer. Though there have been no real iPhone killers, several mobiles have come close to being competitive enough to it.
Earlier this year, Apple launched their tablet device, the iPad. Though there haven’t been any tablet competitors to rival it, there will be a slew of them in near future. So who will be an iPad killer? Well none yet, but Bookies from Bookmaker.com have calculated the odds on which company will release a tablet to compete with Apple’s iPad in 2010, and that company is none other than HTC.
According to them, HTC has a 50% odds of releasing a tablet this year. Nokia has 40% odds and LG, Sharp, Motorola and Sanyo have 25% odds. iPad might get its first taste of competition with the RIM Blackberry Tablet "BlackPad" rumored to make its debut next week, though rumors of the HTC Tablet is also pretty loud.
So which company are you betting on to release a rival to the Apple iPad? HTC with Android or are you betting on someone else?
