How To Pre-Order iPad 2
Update: Please read bottom of the post for updates about the pre-orders.
Apple iPad 2 will start shipping on March 11, 2011 in the United States and in 26 more countries in March 25, 2011. This is the quickest announcement to delivery period I have seen in a long time.
If you have liked what you have seen in the iPad 2 and also the accessories like the Smart Cover and HDMI cable, you can go ahead and get your iPad 2 device from the online Apple store. The pricing for the iPad 2 is similar to the iPad 1 and will start at $499 for the 16GB Wi-Fi version.
In order to pre-order the iPad 2 head over to http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipad/family/ipad/start. You will be able to pre-order both the black iPad 2 as well as the white iPad 2. The order system is still being updated and will be open shortly to accept orders for the iPad 2.
You can also buy the iPad 2 device from a physical Apple Store starting March 11. So are you going to pre-order the iPad 2? Do you like what you see? Do let me know about it.

Do you know what time an order can be placed online on the 11th?
@Derek – The typical ordering system for Apple products go up early in the morning around 9AM PST, this has been my experience in the past.
online store will take orders from 1200pm PST
apple store will start selling them at 5pm PST.
so no it is not 9am.
