Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 (Tab 10.1) Gets The Android 4.0 ICS Update In India

Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab 750 in India. It is nothing but the Indian variant of the company’s popular tablet, the Galaxy Tab 10.1. This device was shipped with the Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) Operating System. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 was the first device to get the Android 4.0 OS. However, Samsung has already rolled out the much-awaited Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 international variant.

Now, we have good news for the Galaxy Tab 750 owners in India. After waiting for a couple of weeks, Samsung has finally rolled out the Android 4.0 ICS update in India. This update brings the usual ICS goodies including the redesigned UI, new keyboard with next word prediction, improved performance and stability, improved multi-tasking, enhanced notification bar and much more.

The size of the update is and it 232.71 MB and it will be available via Over-The-Air (OTA). If OTA update is failed, you can even connect your device to your computer and update it using the Samsung Kies software. According to the company, settings for music playlist, APN, Samsung account and more will be reset during the update, so we advise you to backup all of your data before updating the device. You should also make sure that your battery has at least 50% charge.

You will be automatically notified when the update is available for your device. If you have not yet received the update, then just go to Settings > About Device > System updates and check for the update. Samsung Galaxy 730, the Indian variant of the Galaxy Tab 8.9 is expected to the the Android 4.0 ICS update in the coming weeks.
