BlackBerry PlayBook 64GB Price Dropped To Just £129 ($200) In The UK

BlackBerry PlayBook is the company’s first tablet device. It was showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 in Las Vegas and MWC 2011 in Barcelona. BlackBerry PlayBook runs on the BlackBerry Tablet OS. Earlier this year, it was upgraded to the new BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 which delivers an enhanced tablet experience and brings improved mobile productivity along with updated BlackBerry Bridge, new apps and content.

The worldwide sales of BlackBerry PlayBook was highly disappointing. Last year, Research-In-Motion (RIM) has already reduced the price of this device in most of the countries including Canada, US, UK, India and so on. The original price of BlackBerry Playbook 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB was £399, £479 and £559 respectively. However, the price was later reduced to £169 for 16 GB, £199 for 32 GB and £329 for 64 GB.

Now, RIM has further reduced the price of BlackBerry PlayBook 64 GB variant to just £129 (approx. $200) in the UK. You heard it right!
