ASUS Transformer Infinity Jelly Bean Update Rolling Out Now
By on October 1st, 2012

Last week, ASUS announced that it will be rolling out the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for two of its Transformer tablets – the Transformer Infinity and the Transformer Prime. Sadly, due to some last minute bugs, ASUS had to delay the Jelly Bean update for the Infinity by a week. The company, however, rolled out the JB OTA update for the Prime.

Today, ASUS has started rolling out the Jelly Bean update for the Transformer Infinity. Some Infinity owners got the update over the weekend and have been enjoying Project Butter on their tablet since then.

The Jelly Bean update for the Transformer Infinity brings with it Google Now, enhanced Voice Actions, more smoothness thanks to Project Butter, minor UI tweaks, enhanced notification bar, enhanced camera and keyboard apps and much more.

Head over to Settings -> About Device and then select the ‘Check for updates’ option to pull the Jelly Bean OTA update for your Infinity from ASUS servers.
