Apple TV Disassembled, Specifications Revealed

After disassembling the iPhone 4, the folks at iFixit have now done the same with the 2nd generation Apple TV revealing the specifications of Apple’s latest device.

Apple TV is powered by the Apple A4 processor which is also powering the . It also has a Samsung K9LCG08U1M 8GB NAND Flash chip, Panasonic Wi-Fi board, Broadcom 802.11n Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/FM chip and 256 MB Ram.

It was surprising to see that Apple TV had 8GB of memory and also an empty slot for another possible flash memory, considering that consumers will only use the device to watch streaming shows.
