Apple iPad 2 Event To Be Held On March 2
It’s official! It’s finally official! Apple has just made it official that they will be unveiling the successor to the iPad the iPad 2 on March 2 i.e. next Wednesday. It was just yesterday that rumors were floating around the Internet that the iPad 2 will be unveiled on March 2. Apple sent an invite to all the popular bloggers (Sadly, not me 
) out there with the image shown below : 
Last year, it was the original iPad from Apple that kick-started this whole tablet wars among manufacturers. It was only at the beginning of this year that we some worthy competitors to the iPad like the Motorola XOOM and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It is more or less confirmed that the iPad 2 will feature a front-facing camera for Facetime video calling. A faster processor, more RAM and higher storage capacity will also be on-board. Hopefully, Apple will make the iPad 2 lighter compared to its predecessor. The iPad 2 will be compared to all the upcoming Android 3.0 Honeycomb based tablets from different manufactures, so it better be good!

The addition of Facetime makes the most sense now that it’s been added to iPhone, iPod and the Mac. Every Apple device (except the Shuffle) will be able to Facetime over wifi.
