At the official PR event today, Acer announced two new Android tablets and an Android smartphone. The company will be launching these new tablets in April 2011, along with the new 4.8 inch Android smartphone.
The first tablet will have a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It will come with a 5 MP camera as well as a secondary HD camera for video calls. It will be powered by a dual core 1.2 GHz processor and will offer Flash 10.1 and HDMI support.
The other tablet will sport a 10.1 inch capacitive touchscreen display with the same resolution – 1280 x 800 pixels, and will be powered by a dual core 1 GHz processor. It wil comes with HDMI and Flash support too and will support 10 point multitouch.
Both the tablets will possibly sport Android 2.3 Gingerbread, or Android 3.0 Honeycomb (Android for Tablets), if it is launched by 2010.
