I am a big cricketing fan, and that is the reason you may see several cricket posts coming from me, but if you are in my position, being in a country where cricket is virtually unknown, you will always have to rely on online sources for watching live cricket matches or highlights.

And after a pretty good 2008 season, India is once again going to be in action in 2009, with a ODI series in Sri Lanka beginning tomorrow.

Here is the schedule of matches going to be played between India and Sri Lanka in the ODI series, along with a bonus Twenty20 match, which has become a norm these days.

  • 1st ODI at Dambulla – Jan 28, 2009
  • 2nd ODI at Colombo (RPS) – Jan 31, 2009 (Day/Night)
  • 3rd ODI at Colombo (RPS) – Feb 3, 2009 (Day/Night)
  • 4th ODI at Colombo (RPS) – Feb 5, 2009 (Day/Night)
  • 5th ODI at Colombo (SSC) – Feb 8, 2009 (Day/Night)

I love cricket, and as a proud South African I really enjoyed watching us beat Australia at their own game in their back yard. India is my other favourite team, and I foresee some great clashes between India, Oz and South Africa for #1 status over the next couple of seasons. Enjoy your online cricket Keith!
