TweetDeck Integrates Facebook Support

TweetDeck one of the most popular desktop clients for , has released a new beta which integrates into the application, this will allow you to keep up with your Facebook updates from right within TweetDeck.

This is definitely a exiting update, since you can now update and check on the status of two of the most popular social networking sites from a single application.

Here is a quote from the press release for the new Facebook feature in TweetDeck.

Firstly you can click on the Facebook icon at the top and, once you have signed into Facebook and given TweetDeck authorization, this will add a new column full of each of your friends most recent status update which updates automatically once a minute. From here you can email the update out to anyone, tweet it out over twitter, view the users online status and if they are online right now click on their name (or the green online status indicator) to open Facebook chat right within TweetDeck.

In addition to that you can also tweet and update to post to your Twitter or Facebook account, or even set the new status to both of them.

TweetDeck also has integrated into several other services including Twitter, Twitscoop, 12seconds and Stocktwits. To make use of the new features, you will have to download and install the latest beta version of TweetDeck.
