Webcams provide a great way to video chat with your friends and family, however in order to share your webcam with others you require to use a instant messaging client like Yahoo Messenger [1] or Skype.
Webcam XP is a handy software that will allow you to broadcast your webcam and share it with anyone in the world through a direct link.
The software will allow you to capture and monitor video from multiple devices including your webcam and other camera devices. The software comes with a inbuilt webserver that will allow you to share the videos online.

You can also add in restrictions, where the webcam videos can only be viewed by authorized users who enter a username and password. This is definitely quite a useful tool, if you want to setup a security monitoring unit for your home to check on your home.
Webcam XP is free for private use, the software lets you try out the professional features for 60 days after which it switches to the free mode.
Disclaimer: We do not endorse using this software as a replacement for your security system and are only hinting on the different uses for the software.
