Panasonic the media giants have set the pace here by announcing a portable Blu-Ray player with half a second boot time. The portable player DMP-B15 has a VERA cast, SD Memory Card Slot and Wireless LAN Adapter.
In addition to that they also announced PP-BDT350 which is a full HD 3D Blu-ray Player, Viera Cast IPTV enabled, and displays 3D over HDMI 1.4.
More interesting announcements from Panasonic included, Skype on TV. Users will be able to make HD video calls using Skype on Panasonic TVs.
Like most of the other television giants, Panasonic also announced a new lineup of 3D HDTVs, 3D Blu-Ray players and 3D Camcorders. With 3D making a grand entry into the TV segment, it would be less than 2-3 years before they become cheap enough to be in every home.
