Google Open Source Projects You Didn’t Know About
Google is not all about just the search engine and email, they have tons of other projects which are widely used. I just came across some Open source projects by Google, which were really unknown to me.
Some of the FOSS projects by Google include:
- Google Crush – A custom reporting tool for Shell.
- Google Code Pretiffy – A JS module to highlight syntax and code snippets in HTML pages.
- Google Feed Server – Open Source Atom Publishing server based on Apache Adbera framework.
- Namebench – Hunt down the fastest DNS servers for your computer.
- Google MySQL Tools – Tools for managing and maintaining your MySQL databases.
There are several more useful and interesting tools which you can find through the above link. Did you know about these Google projects?
