Gmail Not Loading? Try Different Gmail Mode

Sometimes Gmail may be loading painfully slow for you, or defaults to the slower HTML mode for users. If you do not want Gmail to make the decision on which type of UI it should load for you, here is a list of Gmail modes you can use with Gmail, thanks to Alex Chitu from Google Operating System.

Safe Mode Disable all the Labs features. http://mail.google.com/mail/?labs=0

Secure Mode Encrypts to and fro traffic from Gmail. https://mail.google.com/

Older Version Don’t like the newer heavier version, switch back to old UI. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=1

Basic Mode The plain old HTML mode. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=html

Mobile Mode Mobile interface for Gmail. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=mobile or http://m.gmail.com

iPhone Mode Improvised mobile version for iPhone and Webkit based browser. http://mail.google.com/mail/x/gdlakb-/gp/

iGoogle Gadget Gadget for viewing Gmail in iGoogle. http://www.google.com/ig/gmailmax

No Browser Check Mode Got a fancy browser that Gmail does not support yet, try this URL to bypass all the browser checks in place. http://mail.google.com/mail?nocheckbrowser

Good information about GOOGLE Loading prob, There are so many mode suggested to get rid of slow loading.I will apply some f themTill now I was knowing only HTML mode. Thanks for sharing nice info.

I tried all of these modes but gmail is not loading. What shall i do?

my gmail igoogle app isn’t loading sometimes it does but most of the time it doesn’t it’s a big problem for me because that’s all i have to talk to the modeling agency i work for during school hours (school blocks anything email except the app for some reason) and i don’t have computer access at home. I use the old version of the gmail app and i can’t use the new one what should i do?

I think they “improved” the service in 2011. Since then it’s virtually unusable; When I move the scroll bars to browse through the headers or even through the message text, the information doesn’t move. I’ve reported the problem to Google – NO REPLY was their answer. On another website (can’t remember which) it was suggested using HTML instead of their “improvement”. HTML being the option for a slow connection; however I don’t have a slow connection and while loading GMail the option to click the HTML mode does not stay on the screen long enough so it goes straight to the useless “improved” version. I think Google are CRAP; I once tried their graphics program Picassa [PICARSEHOLE more like]; When you load it, without asking it scans your hards disc for images and video files and when it finds a problematic file, hangs the system. I am quite capable of finding the files I want to work on – I don’t need their “Help” doing that, also even if there were no bad files it takes ages while it searches your hard disc from beginning to end. Personally I recommend AOL mail they do a similar service to Google, but during registration a CHARCAPS thing comes up which I initially had problems with but eventually it worked. I’ll be deleting my GMail account, but in the meantime I want to transfer some messages; unfortunately GMail is too slow to allow me to do this quickly. I reckon it’ll take the best part of a day or so. IF they think I’m EVER going to use CHROME they got another think coming – NO WAY!!!!
