Gmail Labs has a unending list of features being added pretty frequently, the latest to come out of Google Labs is the ability to convert any email to a document and open a blank Google Docs document from Gmail with the help of a keyboard shortcut.
This new feature will allow you to convert any email to a word document, this conversion will then be saved in your Google Docs account. No more copying and pasting the text from your email, just open the message you wish to convert, click the "Create a document" link on the right side of the page, and voila, you have a brand new document which you can then modify and share.
In addition to converting a email to a document, you can also create a new document by using the keyboard shortcut, pressing g and then pressing w. Using this combination will open up a blank document in Google Docs.
To activate this new feature, go to the Google Labs tab under settings and select Enablenext to Create a documentand save the changes.
