Tumblr (visit our Tumblr Blog – Techie Notes) is a micro-blogging service which allows you to publish images, links, videos and text to the Internet in a simple and easy way. Tumblr in itself is quite popular but unlike WordPress and other blogging platforms there is no easy way to backup your posts.

The Digital Inspiration blog has talks about a Tumblr backup service called Tumble-log Backup which will allow you to easily backup posts from your tumblr account and allows you to download it as a html file. The Tumblr backup service also supports backing up information from custom domains using the Tumblr service, like the one we use for our Techie Notes.
