Christmas is already around the corner and people are definitely looking to escape into the holiday season, in the past we have told you about several Christmas goodies including some excellent Christmas themes for Firefox, Christmas icons for windows and some Christmas WordPress themes for your blog.

But what better way to get into the holiday mood by having a Animated Christmas Tree on your desktop.

You can choose and download several animated Christmas trees for your desktop, there is no need to install any software, just unzip the files and double click on the executable for a Christmas tree to appear on your desktop.

You can set the Christmas tree to always appear on top and also adjust the transparency of the tree. Additionally the Christmas tree also acts like a countdown clock for Christmas, where it shows you the number of days left till Christmas when you hover your mouse over the tree.
