Google Chrome 9

9 has officially hit the dev channel for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The newest version of Google Chrome is versioned 9.0.570.0 and includes minor fixes and some security fixes. There are no new features added to the Chrome Labs though. You can check the updates in Google Chrome 9 here or view the entire change log for this version here.

Google Chrome 8 was released in mid-October, and Chrome 9 has been released within 3 weeks. This is not surprising though as Chrome developers have planned to release one stable version every 6 weeks. Users might see a stable version of Chrome 8 coming out soon.
