Google Chrome like many other softwares does not provide users with the full version of the installer. Most of the software is actually downloaded during the installation process.

If you already have Google Chrome installed you can click on the wrench icon and select About Google Chrome from the list. Chrome will automatically check for updates and give you an option to download the updates.
