Firefox 3.5.2 Now Available For Downloads, Fixes Critical Security Issues

Mozilla has released another update to Firefox [1] 3.5 in the form of Firefox 3.5.2, this version fixes 4 major security vulnerabilities, which are marked as critical and include;

  • MFSA 2009-46 [2] Chrome privilege escalation due to incorrectly cached wrapper
  • MFSA 2009-45 [3] Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (rv:1.9.1.2/1.9.0.13)
  • MFSA 2009-43 [4] Heap overflow in certificate regexp parsing
  • MFSA 2009-42 [5] Compromise of SSL-protected communication

It is highly recommend you download the latest update or upgrade Firefox manually [6].
