White BlackBerry Torch Coming Soon To Vodafone UK

Back in August, RIM (Research In Motion) launched the BlackBerry 6 OS powered BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone. This is an amazing device, which has a touch-screen display as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. BlackBerry Torch is already available in the UK, but if you were waiting for the white color variant of this amazing device, then we have a good news for you. According to Vodafone UK, the white BlackBerry Torch will be soon available, exclusively on the airwaves Vodafone UK.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 features a 3.2 inch HVGA touch screen display, 480×360 pixels resolution, BlackBerry 6 operating system, optical trackpad, slide-out QWERTY keyboard with backlighting, Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR, 3G Connectivity, Wi-Fi, 5 megapixel camera with continuous auto-focus, Image stabilization, 2x digital zoom, Light and proximity sensor, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and so on.

Other features include a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, 512 MB flash memory, 512 MB SDRAM, 4 GB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory, Built-in GPS with BlackBerry Maps, VGA (640×480) video recording, up to 30 hours music playback, up to 18 days Standby Time, up to 5.5 hours talk-time and 1300 mAHr lithium-ion battery.

Akai Launches The Triple SIM ‘Trio’ Phone

Akai Mobiles, a division of the largest Japanese Consumer Electronics brand, AKAI India, recently launched their first triple SIM phone in India. The Akai Trio phone is the India’s first triple SIM, triple standby (GSM+GSM +GSM) phone with multimedia features. This handset comes with a 2 inch TFT screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPRS connectivity and so on.

“AKAI is the first multi-national brand to be introducing a complete GSM mobile phone based on triple SIM platform. This concept has been ideated keeping in mind the conventional user who wants the utility of multiple connections without getting burdened with multiple handsets. The handset measures 109 x 44.5 x 14.3 mm in size.

Samsung recently announced that, the company sold more than 30 million units of the original Samsung Star. Recently, the leaked pics of the Samsung Galaxy S Mini was spotted. This handset will be officially called as the Samsung Galaxy Ace. And now, the leaked pics and specs of Samsung Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Suit have been emerged in the wild. These entry-level phones are powered by the Android operating system. Both the handsets are expected to launch next week at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 in Barcelona.

Samsung Galaxy Ace features a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, quad-band GSM, Android operating system. 5 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, 3G Connectivity, FM Radio, 3.5 mm headphone jack and so on. This handset will also be available in white color.
