LG GT540 Now Available For Pre-Order In UK

The Android powered LG GT540 is now available for pre-order in the UK. This is the second Android-based handset manufactured by LG. This handset was announced in January during the CES 2010. This device is currently listed on Play.com and it is expected to be delivered at the end of April.

HTC Legend Up For Pre-Order At Vodafone UK

HTC Smart Now Available In India For Rs.9990

Samsung Wave Gets Pricing And Release Date

Samsung Wave, the Bada OS powered smartphone, which was launched last month at Mobile World Congress finally gets release date and pricing details. This handset is currently listed on Play.com and Amazon.de and the release date is expected to be around May 14. The price mentioned at Amazon.de is much higher as compared to the price listed at Play.com.

Mobile Mondays | HTC Evo 4G Announced, Xperia X10 Launched And More

Welcome to the Third Edition of Mobile Mondays. This week two powerful smartphones were announced at CTIA 2010. On the other hand, Sony Ericsson launched the most awaited Xperia X10 and Vivaz in India. There were reports that claimed HTC is planning to launch budget smartphones in the US. This week was amazing since many smartphones were launched and few of the most awaited handsets were available for purchase. Lets start the third edition of Mobile Mondays with some interesting news, views and related stuffs.

HTC:

The most rumored HTC Supersonic smartphone, which was expected to be announced this week was finally unveiled at the CTIA 2010. HTC Supersonic is now officially known as HTC EVO 4G and it will be launched on the airwaves of Sprint. HTC EVO 4G is the Sprint’s first smartphone which has a 4G connectivity.

Budget smartphones which are mostly sold in emerging markets will also be sold in the US, thanks to HTC, since they are planning to launch HTC Smart and other budget smartphones in the US from next month. HTC Desire which was expected to launch today in the UK on the airwaves of T-Mobile UK was delayed by one week due to some unknown reason.

HTC HD2 was finally launched this week on the airwaves on T-Mobile USA. The early reports showed that this handset is a huge hit in the US and the device was completely sold out within 4 hours of the launch.

This week, Sony Ericsson launched the most awaited Xperia X10 and Vivaz in India. They also announced Xperia X10 Mini, Xperia X10 Mini Pro and Vivaz Pro, which will be available in the coming months. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is priced at Rs. 35,795 while Vivaz comes with a price tag of Rs. 25,695.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro is expected to go on sale from next month in the UK. This device will start shipping from April 30 onwards. This handset will come with a price tag of £339.99 (approx. $500). You can pre-order this handset at Play.com.

Sprint Launches The New LG Rumor Touch Smartphone

Sprint recently launched the new LG Rumor touch smartphone on its airwaves. This handset was unveiled last month during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Currently, this handset is available for purchase only via Sprint’s website. It will be available in all the Sprint stores from April 4.

Verizon BlackBerry Tour 9630 Getting An OS Update On Monday

If you are using a Verizon branded BlackBerry Tour 9630, then you have a reason to cheer since your BlackBerry handset will get an OS update on Monday. The OS version in the update is still unknown.
