Sprint Unveils The Motorola Titanium Rugged Android Smartphone

motorola titaniumSprint recently announced another Android powered smartphone, the Motorola Titanium. This handset runs on the old Android 2.1 (Eclair) Operating System. We are still not sure, if the handset will get the Android Froyo or Gingerbread update. It comes with a 3.1 inch touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera, 32 GB expandable memory and more.

Motorola Titanium is the successor of the popular Motorola i1 smartphone. This handset allows you to access more than 150,000 apps from the Android Market. Motorola Titanium is designed to meet Military Specification 810G for dust, shock, vibration, low pressure, solar radiation, high temperature and low temperature.

Sprint recently announced the Android powered Motorola XPRT smartphone. This handset is specially designed for business users. Motorola XPRT runs on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System and it comes with a 3.1 inch touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera, 32 GB expandable memory and more. Motorola Atrix Now Available At Orange UK

Earlier this year, Motorola announced the powerful Motorola Atrix smartphone at the CES 2011 in Las Vegas. AT&T Announces The HP Veer 4G

hp veer Last week, we posted that AT&T might announce the white version of the HP Veer smartphone, along with the 4G connectivity. Now, AT&T finally announced the 4G variant of the HP Veer smartphone. HP Veer 4G comes with a touchscreen display as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. This handset will be exclusively available on the airwaves of AT&T in the US.

There are no changes in the specs of this handset, except the 4G connectivity. HP Veer 4G is AT&T’s first smartphone to run the latest version of webOS software. The new AT&T billing will help the HP Veer 4G customers to easily purchase their favorite apps on the phone and have the cost added to their monthly AT&T bill.

Android 2.3.4 Rolling Out To Nexus One Owners

Recently, we posted that the Android 2.3.4 update is scheduled to roll out over the next few weeks. Nexus S is the first smartphone to receive the update, followed by the original Google phone, the Nexus One. The new Android 2.3.4 update brings the much awaited voice and video chat to the Google Talk, along with some bug fixes and optimizations. This update was expected to roll out after few weeks, but the lucky Nexus One owners have already started receiving this update.

Even though, the new update brings the much awaited voice and video chat to the Google Talk, Nexus One owners will not be able to enjoy the video chat with their friends, since this device does not have a front-facing camera. On the other hand, the Nexus S owners have already started using the video chat on their Nexus S smartphone.

Some of the Nexus One owners have complained about the loss of accuracy while using the phone’s GPS application after Android 2.3.3 was installed. But the new Android 2.3.4 update improve the battery life of the device along with improved accuracy for the phone’s location tracking services.

200,000 Samsung Galaxy S II Pre-Ordered In Korea

Earlier this year, Samsung announced the powerful Galaxy S II smartphone at the MWC 2011 in Barcelona. This handset is the successor of the Samsung’s highly popular Galaxy S smartphone. Nokia X3-02 Firmware v06.00 Brings The New Swipe To Unlock Feature

Nokia recently updated its C3 Touch and Type device, which bring the new Swipe to Unlock feature. Now, the same feature is available for the X3 Touch and Type phone via new firmware update. The Nokia X3-02 candy bar phone comes with a 2.4 inch touchscreen display as well as a physical T9 keypad. The latest firmware version can be downloaded from the Nokia Software Update or via. Over-The-Air (OTA).

The latest firmware is numbered 06.00 and it comes with the new swipe features. You can unlock your device by swiping from left to right.
