Nokia Announces The Nokia C2-03 Dual SIM Phone

Nokia recently announced the Nokia C2-03 dual-SIM phone with with Touch and Type technology at the Nokia Connection in Singapore.. The Nokia C2-03 is company’s third Touch and Type device and the first device to feature a Dual-SIM functionality with the Touch and Type form factor. Nokia C2-03 comes with the Easy Swap feature which allows you to open the slot on the side of the phone and insert the new SIM, without the need to reboot the device.

“The Nokia C2-03 makes managing multiple SIMs simpler, without compromising on any other features. Why should consumers have to choose between touch and keypad, or forego a great web, map, entertainment or email experience? With the Nokia C2-03 we have made it all available on one affordable device,” said Mary McDowell, the head of Nokia’s Mobile Phones business unit.

Nokia C2-03 features a touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution, Series 40 User Interface, microSD cardslot, 32 GB expandable memory, 2GB MicroSD card included, GPRS/EGPRS, Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR, micro USB 2.0, up to 35 hours music playback, up to 400 hours stand-by time, up to 5 hours talk-time and a 1020 mAh battery. This handset measures 103 mm x 51.4 mm x 17 mm and weighs 118 g.

This handset will be available in 3 colors – Graphite, Golden Buff and Lilac. The Nokia C2-03 will be available in Q3 2011 in India, China, SEAP, Eurasia and MEA. It comes with a price tag of €77 (approx. Rs.5,000).

Nokia Unveils The MeeGo Powered Nokia N9

Nokia recently announced the much-awaited Nokia N9 smartphone at the Nokia Connection in Singapore. This handset runs on the MeeGo Operating System and it comes with a 3.9 inch curved glass AMOLED display, 8 megapixel auto focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, NFC, Dolby Digital Plus support and much more.

The Nokia N9 is the world’s first pure touch screen phone without any front-facing buttons at all. The body of the Nokia N9 is made from the best in polycarbonate material engineering today. Nokia N9 Leaked Press Shots Emerge

Nokia will launch its 11th Nokia Connection event in Singapore tomorrow. The company is expected to unveil its much-awaited smartphone, the Nokia N9 at the Nokia Connection. The Nokia N9 is the successor of the highly popular Nokia N900 smartphone. This handset runs on the Meego Operating System.

The design of the Nokia N9 is slightly thinner as compared to the Nokia N8 and it does not have any physical buttons on the front. This handset is expected to comes with a 4 inch display and a 12 megapixel camera. Nokia N9 will be available in 3 vibrant colors – Pink, Blue and Dark Grey. Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman Phone Available In India For Rs.10,950

Back in April, Sony Ericsson announced its first Android powered Walkman phone, the Sony Ericsson W8. Motorola Announces The Android Powered Xoom Tablet In India

Motorola Xoom is the first tablet powered by the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) Operating System. This device was announced and showcased at the CES 2011 in Las Vegas. Motorola Xoom sports a 10.1 inch touchscreen display, NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 dual-core processor, Wi-Fi connectivity, Full HD (1080p) video playback and so on.

Acer already announced the India’s first Android Honeycomb powered tablet, the Acer Iconia Tab A500 in early-May. Even the BlackBerry PlayBook and HTC Flyer are already up for pre-order in India. But, we have a good news for those, who are eagerly waiting for the launch of the much-awaited Motorola Xoom tablet in India. Motorola India recently announced the Xoom tablet and it is expected to release by the end of this month.

Motorola Xoom will come with the Android 3.0 OS in India, instead of the Android 3.1 OS. But, Motorola will roll out the Android 3.1 update via OTA (Over-The-Air) soon after the launch. The price of this handset is still unknown. Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi is available in the US for $599, so the price of this tablet in India is expected be around Rs.30,000-32,000.
