Google has just rolled out a new version of their highly popular mobile navigation application – Google Maps. The new update adds Weather support to the Live Maps wallpaper.

Nokia has rolled out a new firmware update for one of its popular business phone – the Nokia E63. The E63 is more popularly known as the cheaper variant of the highly successful E71 with a downgraded camera and a plastic body.

The folks over at BGR have managed to get their hands on a bunch of photos of the next Droid from Verizon – the HTC Merge/Lexikon. From the pictures, this Droid from HTC looks similar to the Motorola Droid 2.

Motorola has just announced in a press release about the limited edition R2-D2 Droid 2. The special edition Star Wars branded Droid 2 will look like the ‘iconic Astromech Droid from the Star Wars™ Saga’. This special edition Droid 2 will come in a custom box with a Star Wars media dock and a wired stereo headset.

The folks behind the popular iPhone jailbreaking application – PwnageTool have released a video which shows a demo of a jailbroken iOS4.1 running on an iPod Touch 4G. This new jailbreak technique is based on the ‘SHAtter’ exploit.

Sprint in collaboration with HTC has rolled out OTA (Over-The-Air) updates for two of its handsets – the EVO 4G and the Hero. No, the Hero OTA update is not a Froyo update. Its just a minor update which fixes some important bugs.
