Just came across a new Google AdSense format in the wild, while testing some theme changes with Techie Buzz.
The new format basically displays links like search results from the advertiser website, and provides users with a search box to search for more solutions from the advertisers.
While this is a innovative format, I did not actually test searching the search box, since I do not want to violate Google AdSense terms on clicking on one’s own ads.
However this format is definitely something different and means that Google AdSense team is innovating with a new format, however there are lot of questions to be answered here.
- Will Google pay publishers if a user searches for content.
- Google overrode my AdSense style by adding a border to the AdSense block, is Google right at doing this?
- Would a user think that they are actually interacting with the current site instead of thinking they are using Google?
What do you think about this? Do you think this format will work out for publishers or act negatively.

There are two types of Easter Eggs, one is a specially decorated egg given to people on the occasion of Easter and the other type is basically a intentional hidden message or joke or feature in a computer program, website or video game.
Many popular websites like Google, Yahoo and even quite a few small websites and services hide Easter eggs somewhere on their applications, services or websites, these though are not easy to spot.

In the past we had told you about a tool to recover passwords for desktop softwares by unmasking them, however if you are using Firefox, we came across a interesting Greasemonkey script that will allow you to unmask the password fields and display it as plain text when you mouse over them.
This could be pretty useful when you want to verify that you have typed in the correct password before actually hitting the login messages.
Once you have installed the Greasemonkey script, you can unmask password by moving your mouse over the password field, removing the mouse from the password field will mask the password again.

Microsoft is planning to push IE8 to users through the Windows Automatic Update channel. Users may start seeing the updates by the third week of April.
The browser will be pushed out to Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2008 Server users.
However Microsoft will not automatically install the software and will be prompting users to install the browser.
If you want to completely block IE8 from appearing in automatic updates, you can install a toolkit that will disable automatic delivery of Internet Explorer 8, this is a official tool from Microsoft.
Once you install the toolkit, you can disable automatic delivery of Internet Explorer 8 as a high-priority update via Automatic Updates and the Windows Update and Microsoft Update sites.

Microsoft Outlook 2007 has a handy preview tool that will allow you to preview documents (Word, spreadsheets, PowerPoint) from within the mail message, however it lacks the inbuilt ability to preview several popular file formats such as zip files, PDF files, programming source code files and so on.
The lack of previewers for some of the most popular file types was something I could not live with long, with the help of two Outlook add-ins I can now preview Zip files, PDF files and many other file formats from within Outlook.
