This year Google is hosting CodeJam on their own infrastructure. The earlier Google CodeJam contest was held in collaboration with TopCoder a leading site for holding coding competitions.

The coding competition kicks in on July and will consist of regional rounds through August from which the top 500 coders will be selected and given a chance to visit Google offices around the world and show their skills. The competition will finally narrow down to 100 competitors who will get a chance to visit Google’s headquarters for a November showdown.

So if your are hands are beginning to itch you can register for the event between June 17th and July 17th by visiting the official Google CodeJam site. The competition is still one month away so you can start practicing your skills.
