GNex Toolkit Allows You To Unlock The Booatloader/Root/Flash Your Galaxy Nexus In Just a Single Click!
The Galaxy Nexus has been a ruaway hit among the developers and Android fanboy. Even though the handset does not really have killer specs, the 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen with its 720p resolution and the latest version of Android – Ice Cream Sandwich – are enough for people to go break their existing contract and get the Galaxy Nexus.
Being a Nexus branded phone, the Galaxy Nexus comes with an easily unlocked bootloader which makes rooting and flashing Custom ROMs on the phone a lot easier. However, newbies might even find using adb to unlock/root their handset complex, so one of the moderator’s over at XDA forum – mskip – has made a tool which allows Galaxy Nexus owners to unlock the bootloader, root it, flash CWM, flash img files, unroot the phone and much more in just one click.

All Galaxy Nexus owners need to do is make sure that they have all the proper drivers installed, and then simply start the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit and connect your phone to the PC. The Toolkit will work with both versions – LTE and GSM versions of the handset, and with any version of Ice Cream Sandwich without any issues. Sadly, the Toolkit is only for Windows based PCs and Laptop.
Galaxy Nexus owners can download the GNex Toolkit from this thread at XDA forums.
