Top 10 Wallpapers For Your Android Phone For January #1
By on January 31st, 2012

Starting from this month, we will be publishing the Top 10 Wallpapers for your Android handsets. The wallpapers will be available for download in nearly all the popular screen resolution of Android handsets, including 720p HD, qHD and WVGA.

You can find out which resolution wallpaper your phone needs by referring to the list below -:

720p HD – Meant for phones with 720p HD screens. All the latest Android phones including the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note, HTC Rezound, Sony Xperia S/Ion, and some handsets from LG sport a HD resolution screen.

qHD – Meant for phones with a resolution of 640×969, including the Motorola Droid RAZR, RAZR MAXX, Droid Bionic, HTC Sensation/Sensation XE, Amaze 4G, Vivid and others.

WVGA – This is the most common resolution in the Android eco system right now. If you own an Android phone, which you got last year, there is a high probability that it has a WVGA (480×800) resolution. Nowadays, and going forward, all mid range Android phones will come with a WVGA resolution screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S II, Galaxy S, Galaxy R, Nexus S, HTC Desire, Desire HD, Desire Z, and tons of other Android handsets come with WVGA resolution display.

HVGA – All low-end Android phones use HVGA (480×320) resolution sporting screen. This includes some older gen Android handsets as well including the HTC Hero and Legend.

HD – This is full-blown resolution of the wallpaper, so that users can use it on their Desktops or Laptops if they want to.

So, without further ado, here are the Top 10 Wallpapers for your Android phone for the month of January. This month, I have mainly selected Wallpapers with landscape theme, but there is a abstract and Space wallpaper for some diversity.
