Original Transformer and Transformer Prime Get Preview CM10 Builds
By on July 19th, 2012

Over the last couple of days, quite a few handsets got a preview CM10 build, based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, including the international and U.S variants of the Galaxy S3 and the original Galaxy S. Today, adding to that list are the Transformer tablets from Asus.

The CM team has released a preview build of CM10 for the original Transformer (TF101), as well as the Transformer Prime (TF201). Since this is a preview build, keep in mind that not everything will work and there will be some bugs. Even then, for a preview build, the ROM is pretty stable and definitely usable as a daily driver. Below is a list of what works, and what does not -:

What works:

  1. Wifi
  2. Bluetooth
  3. Sound
  4. Camera (Photos + recording + panorama)
  5. Video Acceleration (720p youtube ftw!)
  6. Basic dock functionality (keyboard works — second battery doesn’t show up)
  7. 3D Games
  8. Sensors

What doesn’t work:

  1. GPS
  2. Lightsensor is funky

Original Transformer owners can download the ROM from here, while Transformer Prime can download it from here.
