Overview

The Samsung Galaxy S (AMOLED) version was the most popular Android handset in 2010. The handset sold in excess of 10 million units world wide, and still remains a popular phone among the general mass. The phone got two major Android updates (Froyo and Gingerbread) since it was launched in early 2010. Initially, the phone had lag issues due to the RFS file-system, which was solved by a huge extent with firmware updates later on.
