The recently released HTC One X has in a short span of time managed to interest a lot of third party developers, and already has stable ports of some of the most popular custom ROMs including CM9 and MIUI. However, the basic step of rooting the HTC One X is a very tough job in itself.
While most companies released phones that could be easily rooted last year, HTC went in the opposite direction and made rooting its phone extremely tough. The official bootloader unlocking tool from the company does help matters to a certain extent, but it is still cumbersome and confusing.
Thankfully, one developer – hasoon2000 - has made an All-In-One Toolkit for the HTC One X that makes the process of unlocking, rooting and installing a custom recovery on the phone a hell lot easier. Along with unlocking the bootloader, rooting it, the Toolkit also contains some other useful features like the option to install the HTC drivers, re-lock the bootloader, and some useful commands like rebooting the handset into Recovery or Bootloader mode.
The developer of the toolkit has also made a video tutorial on how to use the toolkit, in case users cannot figure out how to use it by themselves. The download link of the HTC One X All-In-One Toolkit along with the video tutorial can be found here.
