Download Black Themed Twitter For Android For Galaxy Nexus
By on December 13th, 2011
A few days ago, Twitter released a major update for its official Twitter client for Android. While the whole UI looks gorgeous, the app is mainly white in color. Condsidering the amount of AMOLED and Super-AMOLED equipped Android handsets out there, an app with a white UI is clearly not appreciated by Android users.
Thankfully, one developer over at XDA forums – Lord Seth – has released a modified version of Twitter for Android, with a black background and orange accents. He has released the mods in 4 different versions, one with an opaque background, one with a transparent background etc. While the orange accents don’t particularly go with the blue tron like theme found in Ice Cream Sandwich, it is still better than the blue and white combination used by default from Twitter.

The Twitter XMod ICS is available as a flashable zip file, and the different versions of the app can be downloaded from here.
